Not quite as often in order to keep the headaches down to a min. And oh my mini farm has me so busy. Spring will hit me with a uproar from all the actives of the new barn and tack shed and baby kids running amonk!

I also have the job of learning how to make goat soap.  
Guess that comes with having so many goats! :giggle:

Roocat thought of the name for the mini farm..."LiL Granimals" being short for Granny's Animals. Well if you ask me I really think Master BK whispered the name in her ear.
However, I feel in love with the thought of having my animals called "granimals"
It just seems to fit in so perfect!
Thank you so much Roo for being a such wonderful friend and giving me so many tips and pointers with my farm animals. You are an awesome person!!:heart:

Whoever said animals were good for your recovery knew what they were talking about.
I hardly ever worry about my brain tumor now, well there's no time.:lol: Last check up it only grew a very small bit.
The headaches are gone, a few pains here and there but nothing like before. Slowly getting back to my groove. Winter was very hard to get though. I need to move to the sunny Florida! Just think of all the trailers it would take to move the farm! :rofl:
The mini farm is growing still with a new web site lilgranimals.webs.com/
and a new barn and tack shed coming this spring. Do come visit the site and sign the guestbook.
I do love my "granimals" and wish I could keep all the babies this spring. But love is nothing unless shared.
I want to thank RooCat for thinking of the name for the farm and will soon post a feature. LiL Granimals fits just wonderfully!

Ike

Getting back to the norm after a taste of Hurricane Ike. Six days without electric and water was rough but then banding together with the neighborhood and friends made it so much fun. Cookouts, daily clean-up,campfires in backyards and so on. We all got through it with laughter by helping and sharing with each other.
Sadly to say the cable and internet was repaired today and I will never be able to catch up with all of you. So will try hard to start fresh and keep up as I love and miss my DA friends. :hug:

Begining Again

Finally after such a long time I am well and feeling so good. So many thanks to everyone for all the caring messages they left. Love you guys so much!!
The adventures are about to start again. Off to Chicago Ill for a 4 day trip. My first trip in such a long time. Oh I do love road trips!! :dance:There's so much to see at Chicago and I never got a chance to visit it. My aunt is traveling along with me and we are so excited at the photos we'll try to capture.  So far we have tickets to see  the Hancock Observatory, Field Museum,  Alder Planetarium, Museum of Science, Shedd Aquarium, Sears Tower, The Dunes, also going to visit Chinatown and spend time at the Anime. Central Convention. A lot to see in just 4 days!!


:w00t: Around The Barn ~ Hoofing Fun :w00t:
The mini farm has grown now holding a nursery for young calves that are still bottle fed. right now two calves Bruce and Willis are being watched and cared for. Bruce seems to think he is a goat as he will play with my goats and butt along with them. It's quite a trip to see a calf running alone butting a ball across the yard., and a goat butting the ball back. Willis is not doing too well right now.
Chuck and Norris my other boys have moved on to the pasture. I miss having them close by but they love the pasture and the other barn. Little Sugar Girl has joined them.

As for the goats, I have 5 right now but another young one was just brought over for me to care for until it's old enough. Buttercup is the youngest and still being bottle fed. Talk about a spoiled goat!! It just can't be helped as those little long floppy ears will melt you right away.
